What You Need to Know
Packing Materials
You only pay what gets used on the day:
- Small box — $4 each
- Medium box — $6 each
- Large box — $8 each
- Porta Robe — $25 each
- Tape — $3 per roll
- Bubble Wrap — $50 (750mm x 25m)
- Packing Paper — $25 per pack (125 sheets)
How Long Packing Takes
Based on two professional movers:
- Studio / 1 Bedroom — 2–3 hours
- 2 Bedroom — 3–5 hours
- 3 Bedroom — 5–7 hours
- 4 Bedroom — 7–9 hours
- Large Family Home — 9+ hours
Homes with many fragile items or kitchenware may take slightly longer.
How Many Boxes You'll Need
A general guide to help you estimate:
- Studio / 1 Bedroom — 10–20 boxes
- 2 Bedroom — 20–35 boxes
- 3 Bedroom — 35–50 boxes
- 4 Bedroom — 50–70 boxes
- Large Family Home — 70+ boxes
Small boxes for books and pantry items, medium for kitchenware and toys, large for clothes and bedding.

Our packing service is provided at our standard hourly moving rate, you only pay extra for the materials used. Carton boxes range from $4 to $8 each depending on size, tape is $3 per roll, bubble wrap is $50 per roll, and packing paper is $25 per pack. Once packing is complete we give you a full breakdown of materials used so there are no surprises.
Absolutely, we offer flexible packing options to suit your needs. You can choose a full packing service where we pack your entire home, a partial service for selected rooms, or a fragile-only service covering glassware, artwork, mirrors, and delicate pieces. We tailor the service around what works best for you and your budget. We do have a minimum 3-hour charge.
